Side Note: My family came up today and my sister reminded me of the homemade deodorant experiment I once tried. I combined baking soda and essential oils with yeast and then added water to make a paste. It worked amazing, except that the yeast made my pits smell like a bread factory, which, while not unpleasant, is a very strange way to smell.

homemade deodorant!
I just made homemade deodorant, following the recipe on How about orange.... Just like the other commenters I have tried numerous natural deodorants, and have never been satisfied. After my salt crystal engaged in a harsh one-on-one fight with the tile floor I needed a less combative and fragile alternative. I didn't have any cute tins on hand, but I did have an empty spice container!
I tried to get a photo of the deodorant in action, but globs of deodorant aren't quite photogenic...
